It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alexander Joseph Bernstein, a cherished son, brother, brother-in-law to Kathy, father, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend, who left us too soon on February 25, 2024. Alexander, affectionately known as Alex or Lex, touched the lives of many with his infectious laughter, boundless energy, and generous spirit.
Born to Patricia and Robert Bernstein, Alex grew up alongside his brothers Chad Bernstein and Kevin Bernstein. From a young age, Alex exhibited a zest for life that was unmatched. His charisma and magnetic personality drew people to him wherever he went. He had the greatest respect and admiration for his stepfather, Conrad Kupferman. With special props to Sissy.
Throughout his life, Alex pursued his passions with vigor. He had an insatiable appetite for adventure and exploration, earning him the reputation of being a man of the world. His love for cars was undeniable, and he had an encyclopedic knowledge about cars foreign and domestic. An avid traveler, Alex traversed the Country, making friends in all the different places he traveled.
Far beyond any of his adventures or interests, Alex's greatest joy in life was his son, Jacob. He referred to Jacob as his heart because he truly felt that Jacob was the best thing that ever happened in his life. He cherished every moment spent with him and took immense pride in watching him grow and flourish. He loved watching him play soccer and their frequent FaceTime calls so that he could read or just talk to him.
In addition to his love for travel and cars, Alex had a knack for nightlife and entertainment. As a club promoter in New York City, Las Vegas, Miami, and Los Angeles, he brought people together and created unforgettable memories for countless individuals. He will be deeply missed by all who truly knew him. His vibrant spirit, genuine kindness, and larger-than-life presence will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
