And in the middle of my chaos there was you... 
We've been through so much together in such a short period of time. It's hard to think of you right now without tears.  My situation wasn't an easy one to come into but you did. And you were patient, supportive and affectionate. Our connection was undeniable which always led me to believe that the time we spent together was meant to be. You were one of the funniest, silliest, most lovable people I've ever known.  Me and the kids joke about how you would run through bottles of cologne because you would use so much everyday. I think of you every time I see Entenmann's chocolate donuts. We all miss your cooking and the memories we made  in the kitchen together will always be my favorite. All the little things you did for us probably seemed insignificant to you but it meant everything to me. Circumstances may have  led us in different directions but I will love you always. You have left your mark on this world, Alexis and you have absolutely left your mark on me.

Uncle Alex, not a day goes by that I don't think about you...I visit you all the time but i'm still in disbelief. Every time we would sit down and talk I never had to worry about being judged, You always made me laugh no matter what was going on. I would give anything just to have one of those talks with you just one more time . I never felt a pain like this before and I don't think that it will ever go away, no matter what you made everyone feel important and so comfortable. Biscuit, you always hated when I called you that but that's who you will always be to me. We met as young teenagers through your sis and immediately from day one became brother and sister. Your sister was my sister, your parents became my other parents, cousins became mine too. Blood couldn't make us any closer. It was just meant to be I guess. God put us in each other's lives for a reason. U were The Godfather to my son. Not by just saying it but by the church and god as our witness. It didn't matter what I was going through how sad I was you would always make me laugh till I cried. Now I just cry from missing you. Not a day went by that we was together that we didn't laugh. I loved that about u. Your smile was infectious. We and the kids will always miss you and think about you. You always made sure we were ok. We love you forever. Take care of my Daddy up there. You were an awesome individual, you were an awesome son, an awesome brother, an awesome friend but most importantly a phenomenal dad.     You had the heart of a lion! Alex, words cannot describe the pain that I am feeling... the hardest pill that I ever had to swallow. When I lost you I lost a piece of my heart. Your smile lit up the room, you were more than just my brother you were my best friend. We grew up together since day 1, my real day 1. I know that nothing last forever but I never wanted us to end. I can still feel you here I just can not believe that your not here.. God broke my heart to prove to me that he only takes the best. I promise that I will always be there for Nico. Our Beloved Son Alex,
        Your early departure from our lives have left us all in a state of shock and disbelieve, looking for answers, and unable to think straight. At times we wish for this to be just a bad dream, but then reality awakens you and is pain and sadness all over again. there's no doubt our lives will never be the same.
How can such a loving person, full of life, with such beautiful heart leave us so soon? Our heats are broken for ever. Alex, you were loved by many. you touched many lives, young, old. Children loved you! Although our hearts are broken we still have our faith, and so we try to find solace knowing that you are now in the hands of the lord resting in peace, confident that you have become one of the Lords guardian Angels and that you are watching over us.
We pray for the Lord to give us strength and understanding to cope with this terrible loss.

I don't even know where to start, I can say all the cliche' things to say but they won't and can't describe the way your passing has effected us. Alex you will be missed every single day now and always. I still can't wrap my head around it all but I'm gonna try my best to live up to the way you cared for your loved ones. We grew up together, we learned together, became the best of friends. You were my first friend ever. We became men together parents together and even though we had geographical distance between us we never strayed very far from each other. You have no idea how much you meant and still mean to me. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that you're gone. I try to tell myself that everything has a meaning but the meaning of this simply escapes me. But this is what I know. A supernova only occurs during the final stages of a stars life. It shines so bright it explodes light throughout the galaxy. That's what you were to us. A supernova not here long but shining brighter than anything else around it. You once told me that you wanted the family to be proud of you. My brother you have no idea how proud of you we are and always will be. Not because you were perfect because no one is, but because you were perfect for us and was what we always needed.
