Christine Govits, age 81, of Port Jefferson, New York passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Christine was born March 20, 1941 in Sparta, Greece.

Beloved wife of Rev. Vaselios. Loving mother of Demetrios and his wife Kiki-Margaret. Cherished yia yia of Bill and Jasmin. Adored sister of Pauline Nomikos and her husband Emmanuel and Garifalia "Gary" Demeson and her husband Louie. Dear sister-in-law of Effie Corrado and Celia Apostolakos. Christine is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Christine will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 9-11 AM at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Monastery, 1676 Middle Road, Calverton, NY 11933. The Funeral mass will begin at 11 AM and the interment will follow.
