Dave Lamson

Born on October 23, 1953, in Manhattan, New York, Dave lived a life defined by hard work, intelligence, adventure, and a deep love for his family. He was the beloved husband of Michelle, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Dave and Michelle met in 1997, later married, and spent 15 wonderful years together building a life centered around love and shared adventures.

Together, they embraced every opportunity to travel and enjoy the outdoors. Whether vacationing in New Hampshire and Aruba, skiing and snowmobiling through the mountains of Colorado, or spending summer days boating on the waters of Long Island, Dave treasured every moment they shared.

Dave began his career in construction, where his strong work ethic and practical skills earned him the respect of those around him. He also fondly remembered his time managing the Good Skates roller skating rink. Gifted with an extraordinary mathematical mind, Dave amazed family and friends with his ability to solve complex algebra problems entirely in his head. Combining his intelligence, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit, he went on to establish and successfully operate his own company, Ground Breaking Technologies.

Above all, Dave will be remembered for his generous heart, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He was a cherished brother to Fran Roseberry and her husband, David; Stephen Lamson and his partner, Kim; and Stuart Lamson and his wife, Leah. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, New York 11776.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Infant Jesus Chapel at St. Charles, 200 Belle Terre Road, Port Jefferson, New York 11777. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, New York 11727.
