I just wanted to thank all of our wonderful family and friends for all of your support over this last week. I always knew how unbelievably special my Dylan was to his family, Genesis and his close friends but to hear how he inspired so many of you to be better just blew my mind. Dylan was always so humble and never always told me the things he did for others. He just knew to treat people the way he would want to be treated. Thank you Dylan for always being such an awesome son. I love you & miss you! Until we meet again. Love Mommy

I worked with Dylan at Netsmart from our KC office. I was fortunate enough to travel with him along with a few others to a client site, which was awesome to see him in person outside of his brief trips to KC. He would take time out of his schedule to help with questions and was always a blast to hang with.

Our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy,

Caleb Fisher

Dylan was one of my very good friends in high school. He had the most infectious smile and always knew how to make you laugh. He had the kindest, most carefree soul of anyone I’ve ever known. Rest easy buddy, you are so loved and so missed.

I interviewed and managed Dylan for the first two years he worked at Netsmart. During that time I saw Dylan's passion for software engineering and his desire to continue to improve and hone his craft. If he struggled with a software issue, he would come back the next day with the problem solved after spending extra time looking into it.

I am deeply saddened by the news and am sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed.

Dylan had an incredible gift for brightening up any room. His sense of humor and care-free nature always left his friends and others smiling. He was a gifted artist and musician, and a great friend. Dylan, you will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Dylan at Netsmart. He was an overall great person. When he worked in the Great River office it was always a pleasure to walk into the office in the morning and see him. He was happy and would always ask how you were doing. I am completely heartbroken by this news and I am so sorry for your loss.

Dylan was the funniest person I knew and the best friend I ever had. No matter what was going on he always made me feel comfortable and that I always had a home in his heart. It was more than a friendship. It was a kinship.
