My fishing buddy!! Gene I always enjoyed being your sidekick on the dock! You were the fish whisperer! Love and miss you!!

Gene was a great guy, always welcoming, happy and fun to be around. We had so many good times and memories when we all went to Europe together. Gene loved good wine, Italian food and was an excellent cook as well. He loved fishing in the St. Lucie river when he and Judy would visit Florida in the winter months. He would always show us pictures of his recent catches and tell us stories of the one's that got away. 

Traci and I will truly miss Gene and that grin he would sometimes get that made you feel like he was "Living The Dream".

Other than seeing Gene at the dock every day after our walk my favorite memory was celebrating our March birthdays at the New England fish market   Gene and I would act like a couple while Bob and Judy were the other couple. This gave us the best price for our meal!!

That's smirkish little smile, you never knew what was going to come out of that mouth. Gene was a pleasure to be around. A very kind and loving man. Most of all Allan will miss his Lorna Doone connection. We never knew when he would strike! Rest in peace dear friend.

One of my fondest memories of Uncle Gene was  when I came to New York with some friends in 2000. When we checked into our hotel in the city,  there was a little gift from Gene that he had left for me at the front desk. It was a little dolphin statuette. I loved anything  dolphin at the time. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. I’ll never forget that and I will always remember him as such a thoughtful, kind soul. We will all miss you Uncle Gene!

I met you and Judy  in the 80’s when I was doing hair house to house. Debbie and Jason were not even married.  There were a lot of laughs. Rest In Peace Gene. 

I will miss my fishing partner! So many fish stories told on that dock. What a great friend he was! He would always supply the  Ju Ju Fruit and Good and Plenty candy along with a cigar! My prayers will be with Gene and his family!!

My heart feels sadness knowing that I won’t spend another holiday, happy hour with Gene and Judy. My Dirty Martini will be had this Friday night in honor of my dear sensitive, kind hearted friend. I will miss our talks on the phone knowing that I will have to remember the good times. You have certainly earned your wings to a better place , May the lord bless your family with happy memories. Gene and I were cousins and our story goes back to infancy .we lived about 10 blocks away from each other in the bronx and our paths crossed many times growing up. We both became electricians together and saw each other 2x a week at apprenticeship school for 6 yrs. After we became A journeyman we remained close for years ,in fact he was my best man when I got married, we went on cruises together and the last time I saw him was a couple of years ago when he came to az on vacation with Judy  ,the one thing I always admired about Gene was how mellow he always was  .I never saw him get angry ,now I'm sure others may have but I never did.  We talked on the phone occasionally in recent years ,our connection goes back many years and I will miss you Geno,which is what a called him.  We both shared a friend  from the apprenticeship ,,Angelo who passed last year. My hope is that they reunite in heaven and watch over me
