Frank S. Starr on March 14, 2019 of Coram, LI. Formerly of Garden City Park and Maspeth, LI. Beloved husband of Catherine I. (nee Andrews). Loving father of Diana Harte and her husband John of Rhode Island, Kathryn Martino and her husband Edward of New Jersey, Marian Van Weele and her husband Tim of Long Island, New York and the late John. Cherished grandfather of Stacey, Bobby, Kate, Dillon, Lauren and Jonathan. Adored great grandfather of Ashley, Cooper and Madison. Dear brother of Peter of New York, Anne Carlo of Brooklyn and Helen Blum of Georgia. Frank is also survived by many more loving family and friends. He is the past owner and operator of the Starr Auto Body of New Hyde Park, LI. He was a member of the D.A.V. Lt. A. Lwcia, Chap #118 in Brooklyn and New Hyde Park; Ernie Pyle Post #1089, New Hyde Park; as well as a past member of the Holy Spirit Church, New Hyde Park #1034/E203. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Reposing at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Monday at Infant Jesus R.C. Church, Port Jefferson, NY. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery.
