Frank A. Villa

Frank A. Villa, of Port Jefferson Station, NY, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on October 25, 1943, Frank lived a life filled with much love and devotion to his family.

Frank lived a life defined by love, devotion, and humility. A Vietnam War veteran, he honorably served in the U.S. Army and was the cherished husband of Lilli for 57 years. Their bond, tested by distance during Frank’s deployment, only grew stronger through daily letters and continued when they married shortly after his return. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, joy, and countless heartfelt memories.

Frank was a devoted father to Amanda Stanton and Carolyn Villa, and a proud "Papa" to granddaughters Olivia and Julianna, who brought him immense joy. He shared a deep love for his sister, Katherine Koeniges, and treasured time with extended family and friends.

An avid golfer, Frank found peace in the game and took pride in his beautiful yard, filled with perennials and flowers. A talented cook, he was known for his homemade pasta and meals that brought happiness to those he loved. Frank and Lilli especially enjoyed hosting family and friends during the holidays, filling their home with laughter and love.

Above all, Frank was a kind, honest, and humble man whose life revolved around those he held dear. His legacy of love, generosity, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel at St. Charles, 200 Belle Terre Road, Port Jefferson, NY. Cremation will be private.
