Henry Strahmann

Henry Strahmann, age 89, of Selden, New York passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Karin, and their children, Angelika (Gene), John (Pamela), and Steven (Christina). Doting grandfather to John, Jamie, Hannah, and Morgan. Loving great grandfather to Aurora.

Henry was a bit of a "jack of all trades, master of none". He loved to keep busy and filled his time with camping, gardening with his wife, and watching soccer. Henry was always helpful and was the type to give the shirt off his back if someone was in need. One of his favorite leisure activities was a jaunt to Atlantic City to tear up the Blackjack table.

A visitation for Henry will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Hwy, Port Jefferson Station, New York 11776. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 309 Patchogue Rd, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. The burial will be private.
