Iris was the loving mother of Janine Desiano (Dean), Derek Seale (Joanne), and Andrew Seale (Jayme). She was the cherished grandmother of Julia Desiano, Lindsay Desiano, Sarah Seale, Hunter Seale, Kayla Seale, and Joshua Seale. Iris was also the adored sister of her late brother, Monte Miller.
A lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, Iris enjoyed sipping her tea black with a touch of sugar and indulging in snacks and sweets, particularly her favorite chocolate nonpareil candies. She had a passion for playing mah-jongg and canasta with friends and treasured the deep bonds she formed with her girlfriends, who became like sisters to her.
Iris and her husband, Tony, created wonderful memories in their backyard, playing baseball with their children and the neighborhood kids, often cheering on their favorite team, the Yankees. Before being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, Iris was hardworking and took great pride in her career. Even after her diagnosis, she remained determined and lived life to the fullest, never letting her illness define her.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Iris adored her grandchildren, lighting up with pride at their visits and celebrating their accomplishments and everyday lives. Her unwavering love and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
