With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Jane M. O'Neil, who passed away on February 26, 2024 at the age of 91. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
Jane was a devoted matriarch who found immense joy and fulfillment in the company of her family. She poured her heart and soul into nurturing her six children and their spouses, showering them with unconditional love and unwavering support. Her dedication to her family knew no bounds, and her presence illuminated their lives with boundless affection and tenderness.
Among her greatest treasures were her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. She took delight in their laughter, celebrated their milestones, and imparted invaluable wisdom with each passing generation. Her love knew no limits, and her legacy will continue to thrive through the lives of her descendants.
In addition to her devotion to family, Jane found solace and pleasure in the simple joys of life. She found great satisfaction in tending to her garden, where she cultivated beauty and tranquility. Her Sunday dinners were legendary, bringing the family together around the table for delicious meals and cherished moments of togetherness.
Her compassion extended beyond her human family members; she had a special fondness for the creatures of the natural world. Feeding the birds, squirrels, and even wild turkeys brought her immense joy and connected her to the beauty of nature that she so deeply appreciated.
A true animal lover, she shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Simba. Simba brought her comfort and companionship, and Simba will surely miss her gentle touch and loving presence.
