Jean L. Tanzabel

Jean was the devoted wife of 62 years to the late Joseph. She was the loving mother of William (Ann) and the proud grandmother of Gregory and Jennifer, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Jean enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—long walks, Sunday dinners surrounded by family, knitting by the window, and getting lost in a good book. Her warmth, steadiness, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Professionally, Jean served as a Customer Service supervisor at Verizon, where she was respected for her dedication, leadership, and integrity.

A Private Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY, 11776, on July 30, 2025, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am.

A Private Committal service will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, located at 3442 NY-112, Coram, NY, 11727, on the same day from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
