It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jill, who departed from us on March 31, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Jill is survived by her dear sisters, Nancy J. Stone (late David) and Mary Ann Auld (Kenneth), and her loving brother, Walter Becker (Ann). She was a cherished aunt to David Stone (Melissa), Patrick Stone (Dottie), William Stone (Ellenor), Kathleen Fox (Tim), Katie Froelich (Brandon), Mary Ellen Blom (Andrew), Alison Becker, Lyndsay Becker, Annabelle Auld, Jack Auld, Meghan Auld and Brendan Auld. Her warmth and affection also extended to her 14 great nieces and nephews; Abigail Stone, Samuel Stone, Henry Stone, James Stone, George Stone, Peter Stone, Madison Fox, Evelyn Fox, Savannah Froelich, Tristan Froelich, Tessa Froelich, Ryder Blom, Dylan Blom and Theo Blom.
In her youth, Jill was an active athlete, finding joy in the fields of soccer and softball. Her competitive spirit and dedication were evident in every game she played.
Beyond her athletic pursuits, Jill found solace and fulfillment in the simplicity of life's pleasures. She found joy in tending to her garden, cultivating beauty from the earth's soil.
Yet, perhaps Jill's greatest passion was reserved for her family and friends. She found her truest happiness in their company, cherishing every moment spent together and her generosity knew no bounds.
Among her many interests, Jill had a fondness for the small joys in life. She found delight in watching QVC on television, indulging in the simple pleasure of retail therapy. However, her heart truly belonged to her two beloved cats, Moe and Larry, who brought endless companionship and comfort into her life.
In honoring Jill's memory, let us remember the warmth of her smile, the kindness of her heart, and the love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before her.
