Joann passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable spirit. She was a loving mother of Ray (Carol), Lorian, and the late Donna. Cherished grandmother of Raymond Charles, Jessica, Christina, Larry, and Christopher, she took great pride in her family. She was also a devoted great-grandmother to Jolie, Jullianna, Jemma, Jewel, Hazely, Ryan, and Ray Ray, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Joann was the loving sister of Bobbie Joe, and the late Andrew and the late Joyce. She will be remembered as a strong-minded woman who lived life on her own terms. She had a deep love for animals, found peace in nature, and cared about doing her part through recycling and simple acts of stewardship.
An incredible Italian cook, Joann brought people together through her meals and her warmth, making sure no one ever left her table hungry. Above all, she cherished time with her family. Known for her bold personality and feisty spirit, she wasn’t afraid to stand her ground and face life head-on—with strength, humor, and heart and a good fist fight.
Joann will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
