Six years where have they gone? I hope you have finally found some peace and can look back at your life and know you left some good memories behind. You have not been forgotten and because you lived, there will always be beautiful people her to remember you.

As tradition continues on, I write to you here every year with some hope in my heart you can actually see it. I kind of feel like your lost. I can’t quite pinpoint where you are. I saw a blue jay in my yard in the dead of winter and thought it was you. Send me a sign. I have a few small things I’d like you to pray over. One being my mom. Send her strength and healing. Send her love. Send her hope. She needs it now. And with covid we can’t be too close and this is when she needs us most. If you can’t send me a sign, send it to her. I know she loved you with all of her heart and soul “Frannie”. Send some strength to David as he needs it too. The rest of us will manage just fine just knowing you are around us. I love you dad and I still till this day will not eat any other baskin Robbins ice cream except mint chocolate chip. Remembering back to the days in the Canyon. I remember being tickled as a kid so much I could not breathe. Today I choose to remember the good memories. For they are what my foundation was built on. I miss you terribly dad and I am so very proud still to be your daughter. Love Krissy 

So Frannie, time goes by and I guess I wonder if you aware of all the changes. Do you send signs to the girls? Have you found peace? You left a beautiful legacy and maybe that is enough. Smiles, tears and memories are really all we have. rest easy. Burke

This night weighs on me like a weighted blanket.  It was the last night I saw you alive, you were gone into the heavens but your body was still earthside.  I was 7 months pregnant. I remember coming to sit with you with my big old belly even though I had pneumonia. I remember your surgeon calling me and asking me what to do with your surgeries..go figure, they asked me.  I remember being asked if we thought it was time to let you go.  I struggled with that for a long time not knowing if it was the right thing to do but you were already "dancing in the sky, and doing it your way". I never wanted to let you go. I remember how happy you were that a new baby was about to join the family. Maybe you thought it would bring us together and keep us that way.  It worked for a little while, a bandaid of sorts.  
Tonight 5 years ago (although it seems like yesterday) was the last night I said goodbye to my daddy where he could hear me. I know you heard everything turtle.  I so wish you were here. I miss you so damn much it hurts.  So while your celebrating in the heavens take a minute tomorrow to remember us, the ones who are heartbroken your gone.  Keep us all safe,  keep us all whole and please help me keep it all together!  Ive said it before and Ill say it again, I am so proud of your strength.  Your my angel in the sky daddy! Remember we would have a bbq and a cake while the kids swam in the pool to celebrate your birthday. You liked to sit and look out at the yard. So much has changed and yet much has stayed the same. I hope you are at peace, finally resting comfortably. I hope you can be true to yourself and satisfied with the life you had. I hope you take the best of us and see within, the success you desired was really quite easy to achieve. It lies within people and not things. I will think about good things today, and perhaps you will send me a sign, I will be watching.... 

Another birthday marks the passage of time. I wish your stay could have been longer. There was so much left to do and so many more memories to make. Rest in peace and know you will not be forgotten. Burke

Thinking of you today as I have so often lately. I have your picture in my closet and I often share my day with you there. There is also a picture of me, you and Amanda from your office that you were so VERY proud of,  We were so very proud of you. The kids ask about you often and Madie always brags she was the only grandchild other that Amber & the boys to sleep at your house. The toys r us runs and the diner. You are with me today. As always I baked you a cake and cooked a meal I know you would love. The kids and I will talk about you tonight, maybe something they didn't know will surprise them. Both have grown  very much since you've been gone.  I feel you would be so so proud, and perhaps thats  often a motivator for me. I searched for gratitude today and something that came up was being grateful for the times I got to ride in your work truck, that made me feel special. I hope you sense the thoughts we have of you today and you feel special... that is what I have to offer today, comfort and memories. 

Another birthday , another year. Difficult for the ones you held dear. Those that you have left behind, a smile or memory they will find. Then celebrate your life they will, they loved you then and always will. Rest easy. Burke

today is year 3 that you left us here on earth but never left our hearts. You were so strong and fought so hard but in the end I know you needed to be free from the pain. We miss you so much. Amanda and I will be having salad with cheese and salami today to celebrate you. I hope your up there watching over us and I hope you are proud of me. I love you dad

Been thinking of you a lot today. So many things I want to tell you, I whisper them to you, I hope you can hear me. Many things I would have changed but I'm so glad we had a few more days together. I love you dad....

John and I go back to our days in The Bronx, he was someone I never forgot, my sympathy to his wife and family.  May he rest in peace always.

Dear Uncle John, Thanks for the memories and always welcoming us into your home. Rest in peace. Our prayers to the girls and Aunt B.

John was a very unique gentle man. I met him through Keith Coco on a jobsite in 1997. He showed respect for all tradesmen and people; a rare quality in today's world. I will pray for him, his family, and all of us for our lost.
