John R. Heggers, age 82, of Port Jefferson Station, New York passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023. John was born in Brooklyn, New York.

Beloved husband of the late Phyllis. Loving sweetheart of 26 years of Aurora Forte. Cherished father of Christina Taverna (James), Joseph and John (Kathi). Adored grandfather of Brendan, Brooke, James and Ashley.

A visitation for John will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Hwy, Port Jefferson Station, New York 11776. Funeral mass on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, 280 East Main Street, Smithtown, NY 11787. Interment will occur Friday, April 28, 2023 at St Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11785.
