

Kathleen Forman of Selden, New York, formerly of Port Jefferson, New York, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026. She was born on October 28, 1939, in Queens, New York, to the late James and Regina Maler.
Kathleen was the beloved sister of Florence Wenger (Kenneth), Jacqueline Callahan (the late Thomas), the late Michelle Tamburino (survived by John), and James Maler Jr. (Patti Kozlowski). She was also a dear sister-in-law to Jeanne Maler. Kathleen was a loving aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished deeply.
A graduate of the Mary Haven School, Kathleen remained devoted to the community that helped shape her life. She later returned as a volunteer, generously giving her time and kindness to others. She also volunteered at Hope House Ministries, where her caring spirit touched many lives.
Kathleen retired from St. Charles Hospital, where she worked as a dedicated housekeeper for many years. She took great pride in her work and the friendships she made along the way.
Family was the center of Kathleen’s life. She treasured every opportunity to gather with loved ones, especially during the holidays. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than dancing to “Dominic the Donkey.” Kathleen enjoyed word puzzles, playing Bingo, trips to the casino, and watching the Hallmark Channel. She especially cherished her lunch dates with her great-niece, Alyssa, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Kathleen approached life with enthusiasm, joy, and a sense of adventure. She was always ready for a new experience and brought warmth, laughter, and love wherever she went. Her generous heart and unwavering devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM at Casimir Funeral Home, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, New York.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Infant Jesus Chapel at St. Charles, 200 Belle Terre Road, Port Jefferson, New York 11777. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery , 3442 Route 112, Coram, New York 11727.
Kathleen’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever remember her loving spirit, joyful laughter, and adventurous nature.
