We honor the memory of Keith Joseph Hill, who passed away peacefully at New York University Hospital on October 30, 2025, at the age of 69, surrounded by love from his family.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife, Marlene of 42 years, with whom he cherished two children, Kyle (Greg) and Erin (Sean). He was a loyal brother to Brian (Margaret) and Gary (Colleen), a proud “Rocky” to his three step-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Gwenyth, and Gavin, and a devoted uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Keith served Nassau County for 22 years as a Software and Operating Systems Analyst and ERP manager of the county’s financial systems, working closely with departments including the Comptroller’s Office, Human Resources, and Budget before retiring in 2019.

Beyond his career, Keith found joy in simple moments and new experiences. He and his wife Marlene loved to travel and try new restaurants with friends and family. Always curious and open-minded, he never shied away from learning something new, whether it was practicing martial arts, scuba diving, or sharing his love of the outdoors as Scout Master for Troop 294 in Farmingville, NY.

Second only to his love for family was Keith’s deep passion for the game of golf. As President of the Men’s Par 3 Golf League at Leisure Village in Ridge, NY, he often said, “The season never ends,” and proudly played well into November.

Above all, Keith will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, sense of humor, and the ever-present cup of coffee in his hand.

Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Keith and his life well lived. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th, at O.B. Davis Funeral Home in Port Jefferson Station, NY from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will follow on Friday, November 7th, at Infant Jesus Church at Saint Charles in Port Jefferson, NY, with the time to be announced.
