Kenneth R. Henning, age 88, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Beloved husband of Beryl Newson for 40 happy years. Loving father to his children, Dianne, Kenneth, Donald, Michael, and David. Adored grandfather to Christopher, Daniel, and Christopher.
Kenneth had a "thing" for flying. After earning a bachelor's degree in engineering, Kenneth joined the Navy, where he was a lieutenant flight instructor. Due to his diligent service to his country, Kenneth was awarded several medals, including the National Defense Service Medal. After the Navy, Kenneth continued flying for thirty more years, as an airline pilot. He's been around the world many times over, in airline mileage, but home was always with his loved ones.
Kenneth will now rest, peacefully, at Calverton National Cemetery following a private cremation.
