Always a smile always made us laugh! I will cherish her memories and be thankful for her always . She cared for me as a child when my mother could not forever thankful . I will share this one memory it’s one of those believe me or don’t it’s ok . It was 10 years ago my mother had just passed and I’m my head of course I was arguing with my mother . ( I know sounds nuts but when you go thru a huge loss your head is a little whacky). Anyhow In my head my mother was yelling at me that I needed to call Loretta so I did . She answered and said I cannot talk now. We hung up a few moments later my phone rings it’s Loretta , she says and I quote “ why are you calling me ?” I replied “ truthfully?” She says yes please. I replied “ my mother said I had too ! She says are you serious right now ? Yes I am why I asked ? She said I could not speak before I was on with the morgue my husband just died I haven’t even told my daughter yet ! She then says are you telling me my husband got to heaven and your mother made you call me ? My reply “ I guess so I can only tell you she made me call you . I’ve told this story for the past ten years and tear up every time . I hope you all enjoy it blessings love and may Loretta my mom my dad and bob be hanging out once again together laughing ! We met in December, 1950 in the schoolyard of Clearstream Avenue School. From that point on, we were friends. During the summer we rode bikes, spent time in each other's homes and traveled to school each day right through High School. Both of us belonged to the same sorority in high school. After graduation, our work life began. Loretta worked at the airport and I went into Manhattan. She began to date Bob before I started a relationship with Bill. In 1963 when I married, both she and Bob were in wedding. When Lauren became part of their lives, we were there. Peace be with you my friend and may the angels welcome you to paradise. Love, Bill & Julie Kovalsky
