Lucille Leone Romeo

Lucille Romeo, born April 12, 1928, passed away on March 23, 2017. Along with her husband, Michael J. Romeo, Lucille founded Michael J. Romeo & Sons., an independent insurance agency in Port Jefferson Station, NY in 1960. Upon the passing of her husband in 1984, along with her sons Michael and Joseph, the family built the agency into what is now Industrial Coverage. Now located in Patchogue, NY, the company has over forty employees and is a third generation family operated company.

Beloved by sons Joseph and wife Patti; and Michael and wife Francine. Lucille is also survived by five grandchildren: Joseph and wife Rosa; Joanna and husband Michael Donato; Michael and wife Christina; and Michael and wife Beeta. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Julia, Anthony, Michael, Olivia, Sophia, Isabella and Joseph.

The visitation will be at Casimir Funeral Home at 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7-9 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be on Monday at 11 am at Infant Jesus RC Church, Port Jefferson. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY
