Madeline A. Patterson was born July 9, 1925 in New York. She was the third of seven children born to the late John and Lillian A. Joseph. The two oldest preceded her in death. She departed this life on March 21, 2012.
Madeline was educated in New York City School System. She was employed in what was then called, the New York Telephone Company. It has been renamed VERIZON.
She later met and married George Patterson. He preceded her in death. Of this union, three children were born. David, George, and Paige Patterson. Madeline was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Roman Catholic Church in the Bronx. Her beautiful voice and singing ability enabled her to join the Episcopal Church in Harlen, NY. She later moved into her own home in Huntington, New York, and then moved to Port Jefferson, New York. She was an outstanding citizen. She graced television, and was deeply honored in her community for the many tasks she performed. She will be deeply missed.
