Marie A. Forte

Marie A. Forte, affectionately known as Mary, of Port Jefferson, formerly of Coram, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026. Born on June 5, 1933, in Manhattan, Marie lived a life centered on faith, family, love, and generosity.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Forte Sr. She was the loving mother of the late Patrick J. Forte Jr., Dominick Forte, the late Gerald R. Forte Sr., and Rose Del Prete (the late Mario). She was the cherished mother-in-law of Trish Forte, adored grandmother of 11, and proud great-grandmother of 6. Marie was also the dear sister of the late Antoinette Colalupo and her late husband Joseph.

Mary's greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved and created a home where everyone always felt welcome. A devoted Catholic and a deeply giving woman, Mary was known for her warmth, kindness, and beautiful spirit. She loved dancing and music, and anyone who knew Marie knew she was truly the “Queen of Fashion,” always carrying herself with elegance and style.

Proud of her Italian heritage, Mary expressed her love through cooking and feeding others. Food was her love language, and her kitchen was the heart of countless family gatherings filled with laughter, tradition, and unforgettable meals. She found happiness in bringing people together around her table and making sure no one ever left hungry.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Gerard Majella RC Church, 300 Terryville Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.

Committal service and interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY 11727.

Mary will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know and love her.
