I was in a local show of Oliver in the Spring of 2015, and while that was the first time I had met him, getting to work with Matt was an excellent experience. I never knew Matt very well, but what I did told me that he was an amazing person. I am deeply sorry for the loss of the people who were closest to him. Matt Paduano will be remembered.

Each September I will always remember Matt as he habitually thanked me for giving him days off for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.  His big grin couldn't be missed.  But, Matt will surely be missed. RIP Matt.

I remember Mateo at the Airport theatre, he was a fine actor, a regular who always came through. Got to know him as a colleague at CIHS, I was fortunate to know both men

Remembering all the fun times we had together and our tour of Italy! Matt was a very special person and was always there to brighten your day. He will be missed!!

So saddened to hear of Matt's passing. I spent many years with Matt at CIHS and he always brightened everyone's day. He was truely a "Man For All Seasons" and my life is richer for having known him. My heart goes out to Sal and his family at this sad time. Matt would want us to rejoice in his life and celebrate the joy he brought to others. Rest in peace, Matt.

Over the weekend, I learned of the passing of an old, dear friend, Matthew Paduano. 

Matt was a high school teacher and regional/community theater actor. I had the pleasure of performing and crewing with him numerous times.

He was always quick with a smile, a joke, a pun. He always sought to help out, either volunteering at the theater or in the community, or just giving some wise, carrying words that make you see things differently.

He always made my day better and happier and brighter. He challenged the way I look at our world. He loved life, and lived fully.

And, man, I'll miss him.

I will always cherish our friendship.  "Star! Star! Stellar for Star!"   I never knew what you meant when you said that, but I loved when you did. I will miss you always.

So sorry to hear about Matts passing. I've known him for 40 years when he was a new teacher at Ward Melville HS, and through many theatre groups. He was a great man. He will be missed.

Such an important part of our Airport Playhouse Family.  Very saddened to hear of his passing. He was always so kind and dedicated to everyone he worked with. May he rest peacefully and be one of the brightest stars in heaven. He will be missed by many but the memories will last forever.

' Could this be your Matt...?'  she asked.

I am in shock;   I can't believe he is gone.
