Maureen Callahan

Maureen Callahan, a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Cousin & Dear Friend, passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on May 8, 1950, in Rockville Centre, NY, she cherished her Irish heritage as all who knew her can attest to.

Maureen was an avid reader and loved to travel and explore new places but always revisited places she cherished most. i.e. Cape Cod. Time spent with Friends and Family always brought Maureen the greatest Joy. Her warm spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, James Callahan; daughter, Kathleen Callahan; brothers & sisters Michael McEvoy, Patti Dragunas, Kevin McEvoy, Kathy Villani & Thomas McEvoy. .

A celebration of her life will be held at the O.B.Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Hwy, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776 on Thursday, September 5th from 2 pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm. Prayer service Thursday at 8pm. Interment on Friday, September 6th at 12 noon at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY 11933.
