I’m so grateful for all the time we had together over the last ten years but more importantly I’m grateful we actually spent the greater part of the last four years actually making memories I will never forget: concerts, hockey games, summer adventures around Astoria. Tavares’ first game back at the barn, the first playoff game against the Penguins in 2019, standing in the summer rain on the boardwalk at Asbury Park, road tripping up the east coast the summer of 2018…
I still can’t believe there will be no more memories to make together. It’s hard to believe you’re not here anymore. You were so loved. There will never be anyone like you- so sincere and genuine and kind and candid. I hope wherever you are that you have peace and anytime someone calls something “cheesy” I’ll smile and laugh to myself because I know you’re around. I’ll miss you my friend.
