Oh Grandma Minnie! There’s no real way to quantify what you’ve meant to us and how much love we collectively have for you.
We will miss and always remember the countless Afghan blankets you knitted, your presence at every single event, your outfits and makeup, the consistently handwritten letters and cards, the Shalimar perfume that filled our homes on holidays, you teasing Grandpa and putting him in the corner, the hard candies in crystal bowls and butterscotch and chocolate pudding with Cool Whip, the big paper bags full of illegal candy and other contraband that some of us weren’t allowed to have unless you brought them over, your unreasonable accumulation of fridge magnets, your red hair, your timeless beauty, your laugh, your interest in each and every one of us, and most of all, your love.
You’ve etched yourself a permanent place in us.

Reposing at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. A visitation for Minnie will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Closing prayer on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933.
