Dear Gail and Family, I am so very very sorry to hear of Nick‘s passing… I truly don’t know what to say to you. You have been taking such good care of him for so many years, and he suffered so much. Now he is at peace and is not in any pain anymore. I hope that brings you a little comfort during this dark time. My sincere sympathies to you my dear friend, and to your family. May Nick rest in peace with the Angels and with all his family who were there to greet him. Love, prayers and hugs from AZ, Annamarie and Walter Donovan

My very sincere condolences to Gail and Beth and Adam. I was so happy to have Nick as a new “in-law” when my son Gabe married his beautiful daughter Beth. I always looked forward to spending time with him at family occasions and especially loved watching him play and joke around with our mutual grandchildren, Alex, Emma and Billy. I am heartbroken that he is no longer with us. He will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Gismondi was my 4th grade teacher. He helped me develop self confidence and rejoiced in my end of year speech. I also reminded him often that, along with a partner, I brought the 4th grade foosball championship to his classroom in spring 1984. His son Adam and I are friends today. Adam attended William & Mary where I work and teach. Now, Adam is on the Leadership Advisory Board for W&M, a Board that supports my work. Mr. Gismondi's legacy will live in our shared work for leadership, education and civic engagement.
