Nikolaus Radke

Nikolaus Radke of East Patchogue, NY, passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on February 10, 1986, in Queens, NY, he was the beloved son of Kurt and the late Janine Radke and the loving brother of Kristian Radke.

Nikolaus, affectionately known to many as the "gentle giant," brought warmth, joy, and laughter to all who knew him. He was a longtime resident of Maryhaven’s Sills House in East Patchogue, NY, where he had lived since 2007 after previously residing at DDI's Plymouth House in Smithtown. He was a cherished member of the Maryhaven community, always eager to take part in group activities and known for his bright smile and joyful spirit.

Nikolaus had a deep love for the water and found great peace in swimming. He enjoyed spending time doing jigsaw puzzles, listening to music—especially his favorite artists Billy Joel, The Beatles, and Elvis Presley—and immersing himself in the world of superheroes, with Spiderman and Batman being among his favorites.

Above all, Nikolaus will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering happiness, and the way he brought light to the lives of those around him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Cremation will be private.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
