As a young boy, I’d give him a bunch of keys to keep him occupied as the girls played with their Barbie dolls. He’d spend an afternoon going from door to door, trying to find the correct key. As a young teen, I convinced him that we should bring our puppies to The Atria to be therapy dogs for the residents. He warned me Murphy doesn’t do well on car trips and puked all over the seat of my car! Patch said, “I told you so!” As an adult, he gave up many Saturday nights working my photo booth with me. He’d text ahead of time to color coordinate our uniform.s! We’d end our evening with a late night pup walk, finishing up by saying ‘Love ya!’ He will be missed so much.

Patrick (patch) was a beacon of light he was the fabulous person he was because he had such wonderful parents and a sister Christine that made his days bright and warm and guided him from an early age right along to the perfect funny happy reliable gentleman that he was I know the pain at this time is unbearable hopefully in time we can heal together his presence will always be missed by us all but we have treasured memories within all our hearts that can never be taken away Patrick was always so happy and spirited and his kindness and warmth shone brightly like a beacon of light thanks to the upbringing he got from his parents and sister and grandparents and he loved all of ye unconditionally in return every time we see the sun shine we will remember Patch every time we see a flower bloom, he lit up every room please allow us to step into your sorrow and weep with you We all remember his spirit, kindness and his laughter Please know you are not alone at this terrible time there is no greater sorrow than to lose a child you gave all of you and in return you had and still have the most wonderful son who was a credit to you If you need to scream into the wind we are here to lessen the pain Ifyou need to fall to pieces we will sweep them up Pleaseknow we are all devastated and by your side at this terrible time our hearts are aching too but we will remember when the breeze gently blows we remember his softness, when the sun shines his spirit and the river bubbles his kindness Patch and all of ye will be forever in our hearts and we will always have fond memories that will stay with us forever stay strong knowing that ye were wonderful family that he loved and cherished we will heal together xx
