Phillip Fedele Monteleone

Phillip Fedele Monteleone, age 79, of Centereach, New York passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023. Ever devoted, Philip now joins his wife, Josephine, who passed in 2020. He is survived by his children and loved ones, Elizabeth (Bryan), Gloria, and Nicole (John), as well as Leonard Poore, and a handful of grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

Phillip was known for his love of bicycling, and would often pedal his way all the way out to Montauk. Nature was a passion of his, and even with the progression of his condition, Phillip would often go out of his way to pick the brightest flower bouquet at the supermarket to bring home. In addition, Phillip simply could not resist a scented candle to illuminate a dark corner and surround himself in the aroma. In his free time, when not bicycling, Phillip liked to bowl and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

A visitation for Phillip will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 10 AM - 12 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Closing prayer at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
