This note is so late, I have such regret that I did not think to send this sooner or look up my neighbors years ago.  I hope this is still able to be passed on to any family members or friends.  My name is Helena Flecker and I grew up at 101 Cooper Ct across the street from the Langs.  Laurie Lang was my childhood friend and Mr Lang was a larger than life personality I have such fond memories of.  His smile lit up the room and his driving around in interesting cars, looking dapper and from another era was something I will always remember.   Hope Lang was a beautiful woman who was also, some I remember as interesting and very cool.  I wish I could have told them this, and more than anything I wish I could have told them how much Laurie has shaped my life. I found this obituary looking for their current address so I could write a letter and tell them how I think of her often and that my world views are greatly shaped by that beautiful young girl I knew.  I wish I could speak to teenage Helena to tell her to take the time to visit more with her childhood friend, to not be so caught up in high school but to  make time and spend it with such a special human.  Lauries fun birthday parties the Langs gave inspired the parties I have give my own children.  How to this day, even though I am 55, a game of spin the tail on the donkey or musical chairs is the most fun.  I hope someone sees this note, and knows that I have many regrets of my young self, and spending more time with the Langs ranks high up there.  I am so sorry for your loss and send love and healing blessings.

I am only seeing this now.  I live in Chicago and we would always touch base at the holiday via our christmas card. 

I was friends with Laurie and Mr and Mrs Lang were always the kindest people. 

I am sad to hear of his passing,  but my heart feels happy knowing he will see both Laurie and his wife again.

I am shocked and sad to find this obituary.  I am a very old friend of Bob’s.  His wife, Hope, was the first friend I ever had.  Bob always called me after her passing and we kept in touch.  It had been too long since I had heard from him.  I wrote two e-mails and called and left two phone messages over the past year and then sent a Christmas card.  When I did not receive a response from the Christmas card, my worst fear entered my mind.  Now, New Year’s Eve, I Googled his name and my worst fear is realized.  I will miss our phone conversations.  I live in Florida, hence, I believe, no one would know I exist as a friend.    Bob was one of the best souls I have met on this earth.  He, and his family attended my mom’s 90th birthday celebration and I look at the panoramic picture he took every day in my home.  He was so talented, smart and kind.  

Sorry to hear of Bobs passing. He was a wonderful person. Knew him from Miteq and AIL. I always used to kid him about selling me his TR3. I’m a better person for having known him. Rest In Peace.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Bob. He was the kindest gentle giant. I loved his stories and the conversations that we had. He has taught me a lot over the years and I will never forget him.

	I met Bob several decades ago at a birthday party for his close friend Cliff Froelich’s wife Marsha.  We got along very well because we had a lot in common both in friends and background.  We were both from Brooklyn and were educated as Engineers.  Many years later,  after the passing of his wife and daughter,  Bob joined our lunch group of neighborhood retirees of which he was a part for many years. During that time my late wife Joan and I enjoyed the company of Bob and his loving companion Ginny.  His passing leaves a gap in my family of friends that I value very much.  
	Bob,  may you find peace and comfort in reuniting with your wife Hope and daughter Laurie.
