Roger Henry Meyer

Roger Henry Meyer, a beloved and inspirational individual, passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on October 8, 1937, in New York City, NY, Roger was known for his thoughtful nature and his dedication to family and community.

Roger had some college education and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He went on to serve as a supervisor of transportation for the Middle Country School District, where he was respected for his leadership and commitment.

He was married for 63 years to Margaret, with whom he shared a loving family. Roger was the father to Bill (Lorraine), Lori, and Dan (Kim). He was also the cherished grandfather to Kyra, Derek, Grant, and Grady. His affection extended to his grandpups, Jasmine, Nala, Elsa, Holly, Ava, and Oliver. Roger is also survived by his sister Lynette, his two nieces Trisha and Terri, and his nephew Christopher.

Roger will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
