Rose Makohon went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2011, in Port Washington, Long Island, New York. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Makohon. She was the loving mother of Michael Makohon and his wife, Martha Ann; and Helen Cetrone and her husband, Mark. Rosie was the cherished grandmother of Laurin, Benjamin, and James, and the dear close friend of Lizz and Mary. Funeral arrangements are being handled through O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, New York. A private cremation will take place and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
