Ruth is survived by her husband, Philip Coffey. She leaves behind her daughters, Beth Vogel (John) and Debbie Schussel, as well as her grandsons, Jacob Vogel, Todd Schussel, and Bryan Vogel. She is also survived by her stepdaughters, Kelly, Lea, Kim, and Dorinda, and her Step Grandchildren Heather Graham, Shannon Graham, Grace Bell, Samantha Bell,Stewart Bell, Jessica Tucker, Erin Tucker, Doreen Benetatos, Stephanie Benetatos,and Christopher Benetatos. Ruth was predeceased by her sister, the late Norma Klein (Stanley).
Visitation will take place at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY, on July 9, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. A religious ceremony will follow at the same location from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. The committal service will be held at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Ruth's final resting place will be at Calverton National Cemetery, located at 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY.
