I will always remember Sara as an extraordinary, loving Grandma who also embraced my children as she did her own grandchildren. On one specific occasion, 1977, when we first met the Catalano family, Sara and Vivian offered to babysit for my 18 month old daughter. I could have taken her with me to a meeting but they both insisted I leave her with them so I could attend the meeting without child in tow. I’ll always remember the generous spirit and the smile and open arms with which Sara met us at her door. I will always remember how selfless she was and how she told me all about the fun she had with Christine upon my return. She was a very special lady. Sara will be missed and the love she shared will be her legacy.

Sarah was one of the kindest, sweetest people I have had the pleasure to know. I saw the love that surrounded her being in the “hub” of Vivian and Tommy’s wonderful families. Her happiness being around her Grandkids and Great Grandkids was something special to see.
(I also can not get over that she never had to dye her hair! - 94 years - amazing!)
Such a beautiful woman, who will be missed!
