Sharon Ann Smith

Born on April 11, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, Sharon was raised in Westhampton Beach, where she developed a lifelong love of the ocean. She especially cherished her time spent in Montauk, finding peace and joy by the water throughout her life.

Sharon was the beloved wife of 27 years to John Ibello. She was a devoted and loving mother to John Ibello Jr. (Victor Sanchez), Sean Ibello, and Megan Ibello. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest happiness in being with them.

She was also a cherished and loyal friend to Laura Kogler, and to many others whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.

Sharon adored celebrating holidays, creating lasting memories with her family and friends. Her home was often filled with love, laughter, and togetherness during these special times.

She will be remembered for her deep love of family, her generous spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her. Sharon’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 4-7 PM. Prayer service at 5:30 PM.
