Stacey E. Zink

Born on December 18, 1961, at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York, Stacey lived a life filled with love, kindness, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

She was the loving mother of Holly Zink, who was the center of her world. Stacey also leaves behind her husband, Robert Zink. She was the cherished daughter of Ilah Stoddart and the late George Stoddart; the devoted sister of Amy Carillo and the late Christine Sawtelle; and the adored aunt of Ally Carillo, Ashley Carillo, and Anthony Carillo.

Family meant everything to Stacey. Whether spending time with loved ones, gathering with friends and neighbors, or creating lasting memories, she found her greatest joy in the people she loved. She also shared a special bond with her beloved Cavapoo, Bailey, who was a constant source of companionship and happiness.

Stacey was passionate about giving back to her community and spent many years as the coach of the Youth Bowling program at Port Jeff Bowl, where she encouraged and inspired countless young bowlers with her patience, enthusiasm, and caring spirit.

A talented musician, Stacey played the violin from a young age past her college years at Nazareth College. She went on to become a music teacher and therapist, and carried an appreciation for music throughout her life. She especially treasured the trips she took with her daughter, Holly, to Walt Disney World and New York City, where they shared a love of Broadway shows and created memories they would both cherish forever.

Known for her remarkable creativity in the kitchen, Stacey was an exceptional baker who delighted family and friends with her incredible custom-designed birthday cakes. Each cake was thoughtfully crafted with love and became a treasured tradition that brought smiles to every celebration.

Stacey will be remembered for her generous heart, her creative talents, her infectious warmth, and the love she gave so freely to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Stacey's life during a memorial visitation on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, New York 11776.
