Theresa was the heart of her family, known for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially shopping for the perfect pocketbook, spending time at the mall, and preparing the delicious Italian Sunday dinners that brought family and friends together. Her famous meatballs and eggplant Parmesan were cherished traditions, and no one ever left her table hungry. Theresa's home was always open, welcoming everyone with love, laughter, and a hearty meal.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nicholas DeMonte, and her cherished son, Jeffrey DeMonte.
Theresa is lovingly survived by her children, Paul DeMonte (Audra), Denise Kraus (Dave), and Jennifer Colon (Angel). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Rebecca, Justin, Mikaila, Andrew, and Devin, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Theresa will be remembered for her kind heart, her generous spirit, and the countless memories she created around her family table. Her legacy of love, hospitality, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew and loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Gerard Majella Roman Catholic Church, 501 W. Broadway, Paterson, NJ 07522.
Though Theresa will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing her love, traditions, and the memories she created will remain in their hearts forever.
