I just read of Bill's passing in our college magazine and was SHOCKED and saddened by his passing.  I often tell friends of Bill and my adventures in Washington.  Condolences to Barbara and all family members.  Andy

Billy was the sweetest, most caring young man I've ever met. By the time I met him-- we were adolescents--he had already decided to dedicate  his life to medicine.  What a tragic loss for his family, his patients, his colleagues, and his community...

My condolence to his wife Barbara. I wanted to get an appointment for my wife and there we came to know he passed. He was the most wonderful person that I had ever met as a doctor. I have expressed many times to his wife Barbara that he was the nicest guy. May God bless his soul.

I called the office today for a visit on Friday, I was told of Doctor Passing. I can't get over it, what a decent Man, Doctor and Friend, I will miss my visits with him. Sorry for your loss.

Bill was a sweetheart, a perfect gentleman, and a source of comfort.  When we had our baby girl, he was the first person to visit us, and stopped by to check in on us every day we were in the hospital.  We have also often said that it didn't feel like Christmas until we went to the Konczynin Christmas partyChristmases will never be the same.  We are so sorry and all are in our thoughts and prayers.

I first met Bill while working at Mather then was lucky enough to have the privledge of working  for him at his office.   He was the best boss any one could ask for. When I was in St. Charles Hospital a few years ago, Dr. Konczynin came in to clear me for surgery.  I was desperately in need of a primary care physician, and as soon as he was done, I knew I had found one!  He was so kind, caring, gentle and knew what he was doing!! I will remember Bill as a dedicated and caring physician, a loving and devoted husband and father and a man who proudly served his community and St. Charles Hospital. Bill could always be counted upon to contribute and make a meaningful and thoughtful difference. I will always remember Bill as a "good man" in its truest sense.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Konczynin at St. Charles hospital. He was always pleasant and was eager to offer a joke. He was a real gentleman. Always treated everyone with respect. I will truly miss him. My thoughts are with his family who he spoke of often with great love.
