Yolanda Butz

Born in New York, New York, on September 6, 1934, Yolanda had a deep devotion to her Catholic faith.

She was the beloved mother of Susan Butz, Michael Mendicino (Debra), and John Butz. Yolanda was the cherished grandmother of Ginger Johnson (Jon), John Pierpaoli, and Roxanne Fritter, and the proud great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren. Yolanda is also survived by her sister, Marge Sciarotta. Her family was the greatest joy of her life, and she will be remembered for her warmth, and unwavering love.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Prayer service Sunday at 7 p.m.

Closing words by the funeral director will take place on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A committal service and interment will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY 11727.
