I will miss her even though I hadn’t seen her in so long. I took comfort in knowing she would always welcome me if the world got to be too much and I needed a break. She was such a welcoming person for so many. I’ve never know anyone who loved having guest (known or unknown) more then Anita. Catlyn and Lina will miss her too. She treated them just like her own. July 4th will always be her day in my book. What a dame!

Anita will always have a special place in my heart. I spent many summers in my high school and college years with her at the bay, and will never forget the time we had together. Anita was an independent, strong woman, and the world is a lesser place without her.

Going to miss you tough lady. A good friend for a lot of years. The fun gathering cocktail weekends at the gazebo. Not counting all the trouble you went through to have a super Fourth of July party and parade for our community.
"Doggy Day Care" lady, so much fun to have you take care of our Miss Dory when we had to go on a delivery. Dory loved going to your house and be spoiled.
Miss you and be at peace.

Growing up she was one of the ‘girls’ I always wanted to grow up and be like. I remember her in several pageants and she was always so pretty.

Anita was always a friend and generous person offering her's and Terry's home as a place for several girlfriend's of her niece's Leslie and Jinnefer to spend the weekend laughing, fishing, crabbing, playing 42 dominoes and having a blast being together. These are memories we will always treasure. Her heart was always in the best interest of her family, friends and the community. I hope her traditions for the community carry on such as the 4th of July Parade. She was one of a kind and will be truly missed.

Our beautiful Anita was Drum Major of the Golden Cobra band. She was Jackson County Fair Queen. She was gifted and sweet. I am glad to have had her friendship. May God give grace and comfort during this time of transition.
