Argentina A. Rubio, 90, of Port Lavaca passed away June 19, 2019. She was born November 24, 1928 in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, to Hilberto and Isabel Aguilar. Argentina was a member of Betel Assembly of God where she was associated with the Missionary Ladies. She loved to crochet, cook, and helping others. She is survived by her children; Eusebio A. Rubio (Stella), Robert Rubio (Maria), Josephine Gonzales (Manuel III), and Mary T. Rubio; one sister, Elva; grandchildren, Robert Rene Rubio, Manuel Gonzales IV, RoseMary T. Arredondo, Benjamin Gonzales, Roland Rubio, Eusebio Alejandro Rubio, Randy Rubio, and Marissa Rubio; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vidal H. Rubio; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers. Visitation will be held Friday, June 21, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with a prayer service to begin at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Assembly of God with Joel Flores officiating. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Rene Rubio, Manuel Gonzales IV, Roland Rubio, Eusebio Alejandro Rubio, Randy Rubio and Roland Rubio Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Benjamin Gonzales, her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
