Arlene, was a woman of strength and beauty, she drew from the Fountain of Life, Jesus Christ and walked in the power of the Holy Spirit, thereby contributing much to our community. Norman, may the peace of God and the Holy Spirit comfort you in the days ahead.

Arlene was a very special lady who loved Calhoun County. She taught me how to be a literacy volunteer and gave unselfishly to her Community. I will miss seeing her at Sandy & Co. getting our hair done.

Arlene was very special to me. I met her in 1990 when I filed to run for office of Justice of the Peace. She encouraged and supported me. She was generous, kind and loving. Arlene was a wonderful asset to Calhoun County. When she was elected as County Judge, I had the honor to swear her into office. Even tho we didn't see each other often, I always considered her a special friend. She was always gracious, and kind. She will be truly missed. My prayers are with the entire family at this sad time.
