

Audien W. “Deanie” Rokyta, 88, of Port Lavaca passed away April 5, 2011. She was born October 7, 1922, in Stockdale to the late Ray and Eula Cooper Wiley. She was retired from Union Carbide as a Secretary, member of Grace Community Church in Six Mile and member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Leo J Rokyta, Sr.; daughters, Linda Hardcastle, Pam Gabbert, Shirley Rokyta Bauer and Gail Rokyta; sisters, Patsy Sanders and Bertie Bassett; grandchildren, Tyler Gabbert and wife, Kim, Megan Gabbert, Paige Zabransky, Julie Naiser and husband, Jack, Jennifer Welch and husband, James, JR Bauer, Danielle Kalisek and Allen Kalisek and great-grandchildren, Matthew and Dylan Gabbert, Shayla Morgan, Annalissaty Kalisek, John and Blake Vorpahl, Kyra, Kylie and Korben Welch and Dalton Naiser.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Carlos West; son, L.J. Rokyta, Jr. and brother, Freddie Wiley.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Grace Community Church in Six Mile, Billy Faltesek officiating. Interment will follow at the Six Mile Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Welch, Allen Kalisek, JR Bauer, Jamey Bauer Sr., Franklin Rokyta and Wayne Rokyta.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Triumph Hospital and DeTar Hospital Navarro, Angel Home Health, Dr. Will Wagner and Dr. Larry Riedel for the love and care they gave Deanie.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Grace Community Church.
