Bruce is survived by his parents, Elmer and Ida Mae Smoot; sisters, Sharon Nardin (Mark), Diana Heiman, and Jo Knight.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Richard Knight.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
