Buelah Estelle Cox

Buelah Estelle Cox 74 of Port Lavaca passed away October 12, 2013. She was born August 16, 1939 in Gonzales, Texas to the late Julius Leon and Irene Fellers Jennings. Mrs. Cox worked for the Calhun County Museum and was a Baptist.

She is survived by her daughters; Vicky Patteson and husband Dennis of Gonzales, Janice Davidson and husband Ira of Port Lavaca, Tammy Smith and husband Donald O’Dell of Port Lavaca and Misty Gregory and husband McCoy of Port Lavaca; sons, Jimmy Earl Cox, Jr. and wife Vicki of Port Lavaca and Dennis Leon Cox and wife Karen of Ingleside; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Buelah was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Cox Sr.; sisters, Virgie L. McIntyre and Elvis R. Jennings; brother, Julius Leon Jennings, II.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm at the Woodmen of the World Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas.
