Butch Stringham, 54, of Port Lavaca passed away October 20, 2024. He was born October 23, 1969, in Port Lavaca to Cleeland Ray and Helen Lambert Stringham. Butch worked for 31 years as an electrician with Formosa Plastics and was a member of First Baptist Church. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and sports fan. He particularly enjoyed coaching the Dallas Cowboys from his recliner.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Krystal Stringham; sons, Kaleb Stringham, Matthew Stringham (Hailey), Levi Stringham, Jax Stringham, Kirk Stringham (Alanis); sisters, Charlotte Bryan (Warren), Theresa Stringham (Kelley Brewer), Irene Schultz (Allan); grandchildren, Everly Stringham, Nancy Stringham, and two more on the way; and fur baby, Lucy.
He was preceded in death by parents Cleeland Ray and Helen Lambert Stringham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m., Pastor Michael Whittle officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Greenlawn Gardens.
Pallbearers are Kaleb, Matthew, Levi, Jax, and Kirk Stringham, and longtime childhood friend Ryan Gregory. Honorary Pallbearers are Allan Schultz and Warren Bryan.
