Carla Bucholz

She is survived by her daughters, Kared Margarita Gamarra Grant (Fernando Gamarra), Magaly Joemar Gamarra Grant; sons, Luis Edgardo Gamarra Grant (Otilia Gonzalez de Gamarra), Gregory Stephen Irady Grant, Joshua David Grant; sister, Lottie West; brothers, Joseph Grant, Robert Madsen, Jan Larsen; and grandchildren, Benjamin Romero Gamarra, Kareem Garay Gamarra, Jose Garay Gamarra, Julius Garay Gamarra, April Gamarra, Eric Gamarra, Alexandria Gamarra, Magaly Carbajal, Giovanni Gamarra; Jade Grant, Maddy Grant, Nico Grant, Cora Grant, and Gracie Grant.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Madsen; mother, Magaly Salazar; and brother, Francisco Valdez (“Pancho”).

Carla also had her beloved chihuahuas: Daisy, Panchito and Princess. Princess was the last of her three beloved companions, and she was still asking about her shortly before she passed and was able to see her one last time.

A celebration of Carla’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Carla’s memory may consider making a donation to the Calhoun County Humane Society in Port Lavaca, in recognition of her beloved Chihuahuas.

Carla will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who loved her.
