Hello, Soliz family
My name is Rita Benavides my mothers name is Mary Rodriguez as we used to live in Port Lavaca, Tx and would like to share how we knew Carmen and how she touched our life. My mom Mary and I wanted to send our condolences and we were so heart broken that we were not able to make Carmen's funeral but we will reunite with her again one day in Heaven. I remember your Mom very well when I was very young (10 yrs old) and she sang so beautiful just like she is shining upon us today and we will miss her dearly. She was always singing at the church choirs and I would go to the prayer meetings with my mom. I still shed tears as I type this now cause she was an awesome person that God created and I only wished I could tell her bye or hug her one last time. I will Miss you Carmen and when its my time I will hear you sing again and get that hug. Rita Benavides
My mom wanted me to share these words to the Soliz family:
Hello Family, I am so Sorry for your Loss whom I know she loved all of you so much. I didn't know she was taken from us so soon until my daughter Rita seen the Obituary two days later on the internet. Carmen was the one that inspired me into reading the Bible, teaching me the word of God, introduced me to the Sacred Heart Society, and attended prayer meetings Weekly. I continue to practice and preach the Bible versus to my kids, grand-kids and great-grand-kids. If it wasn't for your Mom I wouldn't know where I would be, she was a Great True Friend, and the most sweetest lady I have ever known and she would do anything for anyone anytime. Carmen is an Angel, and Carmen was my Leader.
I will miss her Dearly Mary Rodriguez
May your hearts be filled with Peace and Love
Your Forever Family
